i can feel winter turn to spring in my body each year,
because i get a bit more drowsy while at the same time
feeling more expectant from the busy-ness in my creative life.
■the close of the winter hibernation is now■
like the earth that rocks
weeps
whistles
and thaws to create another season,
new buds
{beliefs i'd like to fertilize}
surface and
sprout
within
me
☼for mental, emotional, and physical strength
❍find time to listen to silence
☼maintain enthusiasm for the connections i'm able to make with my Self, others, and my art ☞DAILY
☼daydream about the future + soak up the present ☞ believe in destiny
i have wished i didn't think so much/ contemplate so much stuff i experience.
i have wished i could just wonder less about life, my Self/ roam within LESS- just be non-attached to how i feel {so much!} None of that wishing has worked
because i am drunk
with this wonder
and drawn to the music of life
experience.
Under this trance, i surrender.

beautiful post, Michelle!! :))
You've expressed beautifully these almost spring days and the promise they offer. There is so much to discover in your words, even after several reading. Incredible writing.
What a beautiful post. Expresses feelings of March. The almost spring... Funny how you and Teresa E. both chose "destiny"... Wow, we are truly all related. You are extremely talented, not just your art, but your life.
"I am drunk with this wonder." Me, too. :) I'm so happy I know you.
ummm uplifting this is!!!
Seen the first butterflies in my area... telling me it's time, high time to surrender to this so sweet new season...and enjoy life in that fashion!

Never apologize for your sense of wander...it is a gift many adults lose when they try to control too much. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
I hope you always feel deeply...even when it hurts...this is the best way I know to grow compassion and blossom lovingkindness...gentle petals opening one by one.
Sometimes thinking too much can hurt...but it is also the thought process that acts as revelator to the beauty and joy that rests immediately before us. Thank you for facilitating the process by which we discover those revelations in your shared insights.
mary, you make me think of "i hope you dance", the song lyrics.
laura, i appreciate the imagery. my spiritual name, given to me when i became a yoga teacher, is MANJARI~ meaning "cluster of blossoms".
anonymous, there is so much to discover/ uncover, isn't there? i don't have to think and discover it all alone. thanks for being here.
i know you are all wanderers and wonderers in spirit, also.
wow, so beautiful :-)
